Das ganze wurde der Stoff für ein ärmelloses Oberteil. Die Bilder sind vor dem Waschen entstanden, grad weicht es noch ein.

It is planned as fabric for sleeveless top. Images are before wet-finished.

The rustic look was aimed for and I am very happy, that I finally begin to be able to weave what I want. (As opposed to we take what we get) In one of my older weaving books (Weaving you Can Wear, Hean Wilson, Jan Burhem, 1973), I saw a picture of a sleeveless vest, embroidery on rustic looking handspun silk. And this is what I aimed for.

Dies ist meine kleine Aubergine. Obwohl die Schnecken sie zu Beginn der Wachstumsperiode nun wirklich arg gebeutelt haben, beschenkte sie mich nicht nur mit vielen wundervoll violetten Blüten, sondern auch mit zwei sehr wohlschmeckenden Auberginen. Ich liebe einfach diese dunkelvioletten Adern in den dunkelgrünen Blättern. Eine Farbkombination, auf die ich nie gekommen wäre.

This is my little eggplant. Although the snails really got to her at the beginning, she regenerated rather good in the hot weather and next to wonderful lilac blosoms, she gave me two very tasty eggplants. I love the aubergine leaf-veins in the darkish green foliage. What a wonderful combination, I would never have thought of.

ein Klassiker unter den Farbkombos. Dies ist die Blüte einer Kürbispflanze. Was auch immer da letztendlich rauskommen mag, falls überhaupt, werde ich abwarten müssen, denn sie tauchte einfach so in meinem Beet auf.

classical. This is some kind of curcubit plant. I can't be more specific, since I didn't actually plant it in the veggie patch, it just arrived and grows. I will see, if and what she will bring to me.

nature's shibori .... Shibori in der Natur

Sieht das nicht unglaublich aus? Violette Karotten in Scheiben geschnitten, die den Sinn der Natur für Shibori enthüllen. (Sie waren übrigens Teil meines Abendessens. Die violetten Paprika hebe ich mir für morgen auf *s*)

Isn't it beautiful? Violet carrots, cut to small slices, revealing nature's sense of shibori. (They were part of my dinner. The violett sweet pepper will have to wait till tomorrow ;o))
