Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog Act I + II
Dienstag und Mittwoch hatten wir Handwerker im Haus und ich leider keine Zeit um mir Act I + II anzusehen, aber heute nahm ich mir die halbe Stunde.
Dr Horrible, ein Supervillain, der versucht in die Evil League aufgenommen zu werden, führt sein Videoblog und berichtet darin von seinen exploits und Erungenschaften (oder auch nicht). Neil Patrick Harris, der Dr Horrible spielt, hat eher das Gesicht eine Superhelden und entsprechend sympathisch ist er einem auch. Seine Nemesis ist Captain Hammer, gespielt von Nathan Fillion, der Joss Whedon Fans schon aus Firefly und Buffy bekannt ist. Und das "Mädchen" in der Geschichte wird von Felicia Day gespielt, deren The Guild-Blog ich ja schon vor ein paar Tagen angepriesen habe.
Das ganze hieß nicht Sing-Along Blog, kämen nicht auch eine ganze Menge Gesang und Musik vor. Der Muskstil ist typisch Whedon eher einfach gehalten und erinnert stark an die musical episode von Buffy (eine meiner Liebsten, ich gestehe)
Wer Whedon mag, Nathan Fillion und einen unglaublich niedlichen und tollen Supervillain sehen will, gehe zu www.drhorrible.com und schaue sich Act I+II and. Am 19. 07. gibt es den letzten Act und dann werde ich mehr schreiben.
With all the craftsmen in our house, I couldn't find the right time and mood to watch act I + II on tuesday or wednesday. But today, I took the time.
Dr Horrible, a super viallin who is anxious to get into the Evil League, comments in his videoblog his exploits and successes (or failures). I haven't actively seen Neil Patrick Harris (Dr Horrible) up to now, but I sure will look out for him in the future. Actually, he is too nice and too good looking for the super villain, which is part of Joss Whedon's concept of the show. His nemesis is Captain Hammer, superbly acted by Nathan Fillion, an actor well known to Whedon fans. And "the girl" in the story is acted by Felica Days, I already wrote about her The Guild Blog a few days ago.
The whole story is sonewhat trashy and ridiculous and with enough twist to make it interesting. And it's not called Sing-Along Blog without a reason. There is a lot of singing going on. The music reminds of Buffy's musical episode (which I adore, I admit), a lot of comfortable and nice harmonies placed in unusual circumstances. Whedon must be a fan of Norwegian Wood. Anyways, I'm rambling. I loved act I + II and am anxiously awaiting the final act on July 19. I will tell you more, when the story is completed. Go and watch it on www.drhorrible.com
